原句并没有说 gypsy moth 是被French scientist 引进，他只是使用而已。

对于这道题，
首先可以排除B项，这个相信不会有问题。
对于A，最后那个doing在句尾，作为伴随结果状语讲不通，但是作为伴随动作的，the gypsy moth不能自己发出动作crossing gypsy moths with adult silkworms，如果是的话，则应该改成crossing with adult silkworms.
