求助一道语法题~ GWD24-Q2

A.than

B.than born

C.than they were

D.than there had been

E.than had been born.

正确答案是A，我选的C，觉得答案A的more...than 后面好像的比较对象也不对等啊，一个说的是BABY,一个说的是WOMEN UNDER 30,或者是我理解错了，前面相同的部分“babaies......to woman”都被省略了？请大牛指点

比较对象是两个age, 前面相同的部分在比较中是可以省略的
