Hey there.  Absolutely, you should give it a try!  J  Nobody has great chances at these schools—but with your scores you DO have a shot.  We worked with a Chinese client last year with a750 on her GMAT and she got into Wharton (with our help of course).  It will help that your GMAT is so high, and that you are a woman.  You have a chance, so absolutely you should give it a shot.  If you were a man from China with a 700 on the GMAT, for example, our advice would be very different.

不知道同样是750的男生和女生，谁的机会更大？美国申请人的情形和中国申请人的情形能够无差别地进行对等推理吗？
据我看到的一个帖子，一个在校生说挺面试官谈到，中国面试者中70%是女生......不知道是不是普遍现象。不过，我目前接触的申请人中，的确女性偏多！而且美国人近期的一个调查也显示，中国女性的确比美国女性更有进取心。

中国男人确实比较惨，呵呵。人家印度男至少说英文啊
一直觉得印度人是申请英美高校的奇葩啊，明明英语是官方语言但还是按非英语国家算，赚翻了！！

Gosh, it appears that I have caused quite a commotion.  J  But I am so glad that everyone is checking in, and sharing their expertise!  Let’s try to settle this issue once and for all.  And remember, there are certain questions where admissions people cannot be fully honest.  The issues of quotas, student body mix, etc. is certainly one of them.

One of the greatest lessons I have learned guys, is that this process is at its core a math problem.  Most business issues are, at their core, a math problem.

Take for example two identical candidates.  They are both from Sri Lanka.  They both got 700 on their GMAT. They both went to good undergraduate schools, and they both wrote good essays.  But one candidate is a man, and one candidate is a woman.  Two IDENTICAL candidates otherwise.  Well, the woman has an advantage.  Why?  Because there are fewer women applying then men.  It’s just a math problem.

Lets do this a different way.  There are two candidates.  They both scored a 700 on the GMAT.  They both worked for goldman sachs, and both wrote great essays (with our help of course).  But one candidate is from China, and the other is from the Philippines.  Other than that, they are two identical candidates.  Well, the Philippino has the advantage.  Why?  Because there are fewer Philippinos applying than Chinese.

I hope this helps my friends.  Always remember, most problems can be boiled down to math!  But let’s keep the healthy discussing going!  It is great to see so many passionate people out there.
