请教一个个人网页的问题

偶听师兄说套磁前创个个人网页，方便对方老师对自己有个全面的认识，这个“个人网页”应该用哪个网站的好？

同意tcleng的观点。楼主在跟国外大学老师交流的时候尽量表现的professional一些，这样争取到推荐信的机会也很大。（当然现在这个老师对你的态度也不错了，anyway，professional一点对你还是有帮助的）

if you can pursuade  the prof. to give you a reference letter, your success chance  will increase much. Of course, you can do that under the permission of your referee,because you may impress them and also help them to assess your ability.

非常感谢！我本来想询问今天联系的这位prof可否帮我做做推荐，因为他不是录取委员会成员，也不是ph.d的这个head……

如果我既请这位教授帮我推荐下（当然也不知道行不行），也把论文结果发给录取的主席和委员会成员（告诉这位教授的情况下），这样会不会更好呢？

If you have confidence in your research result, you also can report your main findings in an short email to the department head, and dept. phd coordinator and sb. else who is likely to show interest in your research.

是不是指建立windows live的blog啊？~~~~

PS：我有一个科学网的blog，目前这个运用范围是国内，我想借用这个弄成个人网页，上E文，不知道可不可啊？~~~
