having之所以错不是因为它一出现就错，而是因为用的方式不对。

比如，having done 不能做名词，所以如果having done 放句首，如果是当名词作主语，那么就会错。如果是当状语，只要逻辑主语和主句主语一致就基本正确。

还有就是having不能做形容词修饰名词

我觉得，语法题不能太死，不要抱着什么一出现就必错无疑的心态，给自己留条后路，别一上来就把钻进了死胡同里。

连万恶的there be 都有正确的时候呢，对不？？

嗯，依我拙见，并不是所有having done 都不得人心滴~~

大家不觉得经常会看见having done 做状语的情况吗？之所以用现在完成时肯定是出于谓语动词逻辑上的需要，也就是动词之间有先后的顺序

比如说这题，那么大个before再暗示我们，accumulate发生在arrive之前，而此处，accumulate被安排做状语，所以有必要用having accumulated。

再检查状语的逻辑主语的确是主句的主语 they，因此，having done 在这里完全ok滴~~

而ing分词强调的是状态，反复出现的动作
