我做题时跟你思路一样，后来我是这样想的：
“increasing”表示“渐增的，越来越多的”，“increasingly”表示“日益，越来越多地”，我想是因为“increasing”有渐增的意思，会被误以为是冷天气的日子越来越多，造成歧义。
