注意红字的a
如果没有这个a，career和work并列，中心词是a commitment，用that指代，没有问题
有了这个红色的a ，a commitment and a career是个复数名词，应该用those指代

实在太阴险！！！！

that of 肯定是不行的，你的that 指哪个词，可以有很多指代，这是指代不清晰

commitment不能用smaller
有had更平行，但我觉得用that of语法上应该没问题
