不是的，og的意思是如果claim是名词，那么这个句子就不完整，但是意思改变是由于that的修饰发生了变化

OG没有说claim是名词吧。。OG对A选项的解释很清楚啊：prepositional phrase following the verb distorts the meaning of the sentence
所以我理解的就是claim在这里是动词，后面的介词短语修饰claim，意思变成了claims是来自a one-page writing sample的，这样就与正确选项D的意思不一样了

个人理解为：D选项原意为to be able to assess more than 300...from a one-page writing sample.
而A答案的意思是公司在这个sample里claim... 因此改变了原意。

我一直觉得这道题OG的解释很牵强，查了一下有道词典
claim to be...  是“自称”的意思
e.g.: I can claim to be a Christian.
       That enabled us to maintain our influence with them, but weakened our claim to be an honest broker with the Palestinians.
由此可见claim to be所接的宾语逻辑主语一般都是主句主语，而非一些事实。

也就是“这家公司自称它可以assess blabla...”，用这个固定搭配更符合原文的意思
我觉得这是一个比较合理的思路

OG 解释有写的很清楚啊A 选项 from a one-page writing sample 没用逗号隔开，直接连在claim 后面，仿佛介词短语直接modifer claim。 意思变成这个claim 来自一页书写的样本里。 这个和正确答案d明显不一样。 我理解，这题首先靠你读懂这个句子意思没，哪个是主干，那些是修饰成分，并且这个修饰成分（介词短语）在句中属于次要位置，所以用两个逗号把它于主句隔开，减少对句意的误解，使句子更容易读懂。

我今天也仔细看了og的解释，og的意思是 把 claim 当成名词，才会造成那样的误解。可是在这句话中claim只能作为动词啊~所以无论那种分析最后结果都是A是不正确的，这样理解对么？

for choice A, it is easy to find out that 'claim' is a verb. Thus, there should be no distort and misunderstanding.
Coz if 'claim' is noun (cliams from a one-page writing sample that it can assess more than 300 personality traits), the whole sentence is not complete (lacks verb).
