关于OG解释的这两句话我不懂。如果用逗号和被修饰成分隔开作分词短语的话，这里的修饰就对了吗？
第一个用逗号隔开的话，可以作结果状语。

Q126里面就不懂了，个人认为 即使用逗号隔开，它也不能修饰reations，即使修饰reations也是非限定的。用逗号隔开，它可以作结果状语，但意思又不对了。

请NN斧正。

从语义的角度也可以分析出这道题翻译：测谎仪的使用是基于一个假说that说谎会在一个人的身上产生情绪反应（emotional reactions），相应的，这个emotional reactions会产生不易被察觉到的生理反应

这里的an individual被提前，正确的语序应该是：

（that） lying produces emotional reactions that, in turn（相应的）, create unconscious physiological responses in an individual.
In turn：相应的，轮流的

In turn的逻辑作用：
in turn包含的这种逻辑：A 产生 B；B, in turn，C。

creating 怎么能够修饰lying呢？
S+V+O，Ving …..        
V动作的发出者可以是S，也可以是S+V+O这整件事儿, 但一定不可以是O　

比如： I gave 一个巴掌 to 小三 , making my wife happy.
        Making my wife高兴的是  “I” 或者是 “I gave 一个巴掌 to 小三”这件事儿，但绝不可能是“小三儿”
  

S+V+O Ving……        
Ving 直接在O后面，前面没有逗号。这种情况下V动作的发出者是O，相当于S+V+O（which be）Ving ……
这里面 which+be 动词是可以省略的。
比如： the girl wearing a red hat  =  the girl (who is) wearing a red hat.

我来试着解答一下126。大家看一下，og解释的第一句就是the sentence decribes a cause-and-effect sequence,紧接着第二句是the pronoun"that" refers to "reactions"。好了，这就解决了大家讨论的到底是“什么create physiological response”的问题了。因为根据“cause-and-effect sequence”和“in turn”可以从逻辑上推断出是“lying 产生 reaction，然后inturn reaction产生response”。这题的考点根本在于对句子中逻辑意思的理解，而不是简单的修饰性语法。E选项语法上确实毫无问题，但在逻辑意思上出了偏差。个人一点愚见。

can someone please explain why the word "that" in this sentence does not refer to "individual", but to "reactions" ?

how can you know to which word the "that" exactly refer ?

[/quote]   感觉大家都忽视了“in turn”的作用，  考虑in turn包含的这种逻辑：A 产生 B；B, in turn，C。题目中即使无具备专业知识，由于in turn的存在，也应该明确其正确逻辑关系应该是 lying 产生reactions, ______ , in turn ,产生 response. in turn前须为reations。
再者，从GMAT答案须“对称&美”的要求看，也可以排除B,C,E，in an dividual 是produces的范围状语，属于lying主produces谓reactions宾的儿子辈，B\C\E 中 create 都由儿子辈发出；与前面分析in turn暗示的逻辑关系矛盾，实为乱伦，不“美”，排除BCE。
