用逗号把连词与句子隔开的时候，要重复前面的主语，但是

这题选E，也没重复主语啊

你说的情况是 SVO ，but/and SVO   即两个完整的句子中间需要用逗号加连词来连接，当两个完整句子的主语相同时一般用SVO but/and VO  合并成一个句子，两个谓语用连词连接即可，如果主语相同还非要拆成两个句子，中间用逗号加连词连接，那就属于你说的那种情况，后面的句子主语不能省略。但是这道题目并不属于这种两个完整句子的并列，while后面的部分实际上是一种省略结构，将后面的句子补全应该是while then it was proved...., falling...       falling做was的伴随结构，这样就与你说的情况完全相符了。而这道题目将it was省略，直接跟proved这一过去分词，在这种情况下实际上可以将整个while部分看作一个修饰成分------用来修饰前面句子的主语company。你可能是把proved看做了后面句子的谓语，才产生了困惑，然而其实proved并不是真正的谓语，它只是被动语态的过去分词，真正的谓语was被省略了。所以答案是合理的。

谢谢penny~~~这样看来的话，应该是表示对比意思的时候，直接用逗号连词不用补出主语，不是对比而是陈述的时候，有逗号加连词后面要补出来主语。。~~~~

OG12th P783 第100题 这个是做连词连句子

P731 第92题 这个就是连两个不是句子的

我的理解是做连词最好有，包括后面因为省略而去掉主语和be的，但是没有也无伤大雅。
GMAC不会把这个当着重的考点的吧。。。
