我认为E正确,
farm equipment and land 和collateral是同位语关系,GMAC相比定语从句更喜欢同位语.原句的结构是 the collateral which farmers borrow against to get through the harvest season, are

E是对的
D里面的WHICH引导定语从句修饰equipment and land 没有问题
错在to borrow against to get through 这样一个结构

i think D's grammer is correct, but wordy.
in E, the colleteral does modify equipment and land.
