OG中给出的A错误原因是"So as to marry is not idiomatically correct; it does not identify who will marry."
我不能完全理解，为何说它没有指明谁将要结婚？原句可缩为"King Henry VIII did sth so as to marry A.B"。与在词霸里搜到的so as to例句，如"you should make up yourself well so as to leave a good impression for her "，并无何不同。
我的思路是哪里出现了错误？

在这道题的情况下，A是最好的选择。

B. 没有that，不完整。而且they指代不清楚
C. they指代不清，其次没有特别的时间指示词提示要用have
D. they指代不清，enough so that用法有问题，把enough……that和so that混在一起用了
E. enough so as to也是用法有问题，类似D


可能A不是绝对正确的答案，但是在其他选项有明显错误的情况下选A。
如果从语义方面来说，B,C,D都有they，而they在翻译的时候找不到合适的指代对象。

in general, you don't use so ADJ as to VERB unless the VERB describes some sort of state/condition. i.e., if the verb is an action verb, this construction generally isn't used.
for instance,
i am so ugly as to be viscerally repulsive to women. --> this works, because the verb “to be” describes a state/condition.
i am so ugly as to repel women on sight. --> you generally wouldn't see this in good writing, as “repel” is an action verb; the sentence would probably be written as i am so ugly that i repel women on sight.

即便是i have my hair cut（by sb），这里的主句主语还是“i”，那么i也还是 so as to 的主语~ 不会涉及第三人呀。
所以还是不太明白这个题，请NN指点！
