MBA的困惑--请教指点, 谢谢!

真诚请教论坛里各位高人指点,先在此谢过!

本人研究生毕业, 毕业后在一家知名外企连续工作了七年, 职业发展还算顺利, 有5年管理经验, 但是因公司发生重大调整, 然后离职, 现在面临的问题是:

1, 读MBA: 国内MBA最短也需要18个月, 这样的话, 是不是也对我的职业发展不利? 也很难找到理想的工作? 而且, 这个工作空白期是不是也会影响我的MBA申请? 甚至干脆就申请不到好一些的商学院?

2, 先找个工作干着, 即使不是很理想, 然后再慢慢考虑MBA申请,但是这样, 一方面对我的职业规划会不清楚, 另一方面自己也年纪偏大, 也许读MBA就意义不大了.

对于现在的状况, 很是头痛, 如果能得到大家的赐教, 我不甚感激.

to DL88: Many thanks for the quite valuble feedback. It seemed that I was not very clear about the MBA game, and worried a lot about the uncertain future, as well as the risk, maybe because of my old age, lol. Your suggestion is much helpful, thanks!

to hang13: maybe my expression is not clear. for me I am looking for a matching job, matching with my knowledge , my skills and my interest, not for the ideal one. Thanks for your suggestion!

LZ我觉得你通篇都在考虑理想的工作，啥叫理想的工作？是有很多钱，还是有很好的职业发展空间？如果你没有理顺思路，给自己一个明晰的规划，说服自己，那你怎么去说服商学院录取你呢？
还是先想清楚自己的路线，我能给你的建议就是做自己最擅长的事情风险是最小的。

one more suggestion: how about your think if no go for MBA, what kind of other option you may have? then make the comparision.

A big portion of MBA candidates have some kind of career issues in the past and they expect an MBA certificate can help them in their future career. And majority of them manage to obtain this successfully. However you have to make up a story which your future employers would like to believe -it is called marketing, lol. People like good stories, true or false, as long as they look like true and convincible. Remember nobody can replace yourself in the career planning and make it a success. Good luck
