如果你看成是(electricity and heat)，那后面的factories and homes宾语怎么办？除非你加 （for）in between

说说我的拙见：

如果是of electricity and heat，这里的heat是做名词讲。若做名词讲是高温的意思，跟句子的“加热”的意思太远。
整体感觉E也有点晕晕的。
