看了讨论,还是有些不懂
1.provide的用法到底是什么,我查到的就是provide sth for sb,但是有没有provide sth for doing的??
2.都说C中错是因为they的指代歧义,但是两句并列的句子,后一句的主语代词优先指代前一句的主语么????

我想知道C为什么错

我记得高中（好吧...我知道要被拍了= =）里面有讲过 clue to sth 这个结构啊
而且我觉得C里面对的很工整啊...

不太明白为什么C的did是硬伤？正好对应前面的colonize啊？而且我觉得they没有指代问题，不管是逻辑上还是语法上都是一致指代mammals的啊~

to do 表目的 for doing 表用途这里应该用for doing 且E更简洁

provide sth for doing, 没有provide to do sth .的用法，只有provide sth for sb的用法。C中did后面却宾语是硬伤。这题我也错了~

表示目的的一般都用to，但是provide和for有固定搭配就没有办法了
