to #8: 对，almost要修饰行为动词的话会放在行为动词前面，所以这里almost放在expect后面不会引起修饰歧义。

其实，我看了一些国外网站说的，都说almost expect的语序有问题，说 "production is expected almost" is the correct order of words

然后说it没有指代，which用法awkward，然后E中时态问题would改为will，to double和to provide平行

他们这样分析就完了，没有涉及到doing这个问题！

我想起来了，斑斑好像是在那个贴发掘出过一条定理，说只有延续性动词才有伴随的结果发生，短暂性或者说状态动词不能有伴随结果……thx

还可以通过almost来区分B和D。
B中 almost expect ... 这里 almost 就成了修饰 expect，“几乎要预计...”
D中 expect almost to double ... 这里 almost 才是修饰 double 的，“预计差不多要翻倍...”

umm...double和provide都是at the end of the year时候发生的事情，而present participle在句尾表示了"伴随动作"或者"伴随结果"，而这里，double不是延续性动词，所以无法伴随动作，double和provide同时发生，所以不是伴随结果。两者是并列关系，所以应该用to double ... and to provide ...

反过来如果説想用分词来表达那个PRODUCTION发出的动作，那肯定改成和前面那个expect并列动词更好，不会有歧义

就是如果按照B的理解，那个，PROVIDING这个动作是和expect这个动作一起发生的，是EXPECT的伴随结果，这肯定不对；对比其他的“分词表示一句话带来的影响”的题目，就明白不对了

想了下应该是这样，总算和那道老鹰飞去的题搞清了
