第一题分析：此处BS是主动发出conducted operations，而非被动，即使要用，也应当用conducting来表明主动。所以，不可以把conducted理解成修饰语，而应该是谓语动词的过去时态，这样的话，句子就会有双重谓语，第一重是conducted，第二重是have greatly downsized or shut down。这样是不对的，应该是把含有conducted的那堆弄成同位语搞修饰。这样就只能选B了。
A中的问题与E相同，都是有两套谓语，错误。With后面加名词性结构的东西，不能加句子。C错误。 While既有“当......的时候”又有“但是”表对比的意思，属于歧义的词，一般不出现在GAMT SC的正确句子里。

that 引导同位语从句修饰large, integrated companies，且同位语从句中的that不能省略。
(此处的从句不是非限制性定语从句，非限制性定语从句不用that引导，而且引导词不能省略。)

感谢指教，第二题懂了。第一题还是不懂，好貌似记得OG上说 AS后连接句子，LIKE后连接短语，所以我是当它引导一个句子而不是一个从句选的
