刚刚收到信,被拒了,not invited to the interview。
Good Luck to all XDJM!

totally agree with LS.
It's like a marketing process. You should not only define your selling points and deliver them effectively to your clients(ad-com), but must know what the clients' needs are__how they will value your selling points and whether your selling points can meet their needs.
And now, I believe that this marketing ability finally differentiate us.
So just learn from all the setbacks and failures, and then move on``````

If what you said were true, I believe point 3 is the most important factor that increases their chances for a successful application. I am also wondering why most schools admit more indians than Chinese. I tend to believe that they have resources or coaching systems that we don't have. If a lot of them use microfinancing as an example of social engagement and entrepreneurial spirit, being honest or not, they know how to cater for the ideals in the eyes of the adcom. They cannot understand this just from instinct, so I believe they have resources that tell them what to do and how to do it.

Essays, Essays, Essays. As you cannot change your professional background, the only meaningful effort you can make is on your essays. And that's the most important factor after all, at this stage. Whatever advantages you see in the aforementioned two groups of people, the most important one is that they know what is a good essay and how to write it.
