Northwestern 两年JD项目 大家觉得有价值吗？

我是考GMAT的，但是收到这么个邮件：

Northwestern Law’s Accelerated JD program, now in its second year, allows students to obtain a full JD degree in just two calendar years and provides them with the flexibility to pursue future careers that combine positions in the legal and business industries.  As a core initiative in our recently announced strategic plan update, this innovative program is designed for highly motivated and forward-thinking students who see the value of resuming their careers a year sooner than in a traditional three-year program and who realize the benefits of combining a traditional legal education with additional training in areas such as quantitative methods, negotiations, business strategy, organizational behavior, business communication, and teamwork.  When applying, candidates may take either the GMAT or the LSAT as their required entrance exam and both receive equal consideration in the admissions process.  To apply or for further information and a copy of the Accelerated JD program brochure, please visit us at: http://www.law.northwestern.edu/academics/ajd/

大家觉得，2年读出来的JD市场接受度如何？

还有，他们是5月份入学的，5月份毕业。这个毕业时间会不会对找工作不利啊？

而且，一般的JD是不是第三年有很多的时间找工作？要是那样，这两年的JD课程量一点不少，可怎么有时间找工作啊？

大家帮忙分析一下呗

上这个2-YEAR JD, 工作比上3-YEAR JD的难多了. 雇主也很聪明, 有那么多3-YEAR JD都找不到工作, 何必考虑2-YEAR的呢?

此外, 2-YEAR JD:
1. 没机会实习
2. 不能参加JOURNAL或MOOT COURT
3. 没有奖学金
4. 学费还高

西北是全美最贵的学校之一吧。
其实两年是按照三年的学费收的，就是你节省了时间。
另外这个项目的平均分着的只有158？
我觉得录西北怎么都得上165.

Two-Year JD 与AJD完全是两个概念。刚查了NU的网站，去年该AJD项目实际录取27人，median LSAT是171，median GMAT是710，median工作经验是6年，其中不乏金融及咨询背景的学生。看上去似乎是很好的项目，学生也可以参加journal, 与普通2L一样参加summer associate interview。 只是原本3年的课程被压缩到2年, 似乎压力更大一些。学费不省，但省一年生活费~~~ 我的Dreaming school啊

不是AJD,就是他家的两年项目,160左右就可以领到西北的两年JD录取.

西北这个两年JD项目前年入学LSAT平均分158，去年161。而且只要有个160+LSAT成绩，其他条件不太差，基本都能接到AD。的确少有奖学金和参与西北法学院的就业服务，圈钱像十足。

这个项目完全没有奖学金, 是全自费.
