topic: do you agree or disagree that high schools should allow students to study the courses that students want to study. explain why?

Some people think that high school should allow students to learn what they like ,others think not.as of me, i agree the latter that the students should follow the curriculums made by high school and learn kownlegde as much as they can.

Following the school curriculums means that the students  must learn a variety of knowlegde ranging from science to arts,which ,i think,may benefit them a lot,because  it can enrich the students brain ,boarden their view,and especially develop the learning skills.for instance,if a girl who is much excel at arts science learn some kownledge about math or chmistry ,she may change another thinking manner to deal with such quantitative problems.by contrast,these subjects can  improve her thinking level and even alter her view to the world.

In addition,in my opinion,college education is a kind of fundamantal education,let alone education of high school.basic kownlegde concerning the different fields of the world and basic thoughs manner are both critical for the development of the students,meanwhile,the students' attitudes towards the world are nearly built at this period of time.therefore ,the high school  is responsible for providing basic educaition for ghe high school students.

In view of the reasons that i mentioned above,the students should learn much more knowledge form different area so as to prepare for the future development.
