问题1：正确答案是A。请问为什么C选项不对呢？with表示index停止增长之后的伴随也没有错误呀...

问题2：此外，学渣还想问个语法点。C选项的SVO, with ... 在逗号之后的介词短语，在句末只能做状语嘛？那修饰的是前面的整个句子，还是句子里面的形容词或者动词呢？
这让我联想到了另外一个题目

其中的B选项：by前的逗号必须有，这个逗号不是随意的，它有它的必要可能功能。表明by这个介词短语是修饰主句的状语，否则它也可以被看作是修饰定语从句的状语了。有了这个逗号就明确地表明by是修饰主句而不是定语从句的状语了。

这道题我最大的疑惑就是，他们为什么是并列的独立的两件事，而不能是因果关系= =因为inflation被控制了，所以PPI指数也不会再上涨了

我觉得让人感到疑惑的就是，Producer Price Index恰好是inflation的一种反映，所以逻辑上因为inflation被控制住了所以体现出来PPI不会再上涨应该也是说得通的？这么说的话问题在于with表示“因为”的表意不够明确？

楼主，gmatLA是这么分析的：C选项：with inflation to remain是一个独立主格，作为状语修饰动作“go up”。但逻辑上来说，“指数不增长”和“通货膨胀保持可控”是并列的独立的两件事，不能用后者去修饰前者，这是不合理的。
