在网站上看大家的解释说B选项this advance 指代有错，想请问一下大家this advance是具体怎么指代有问题了呢？是要在句子前出现了advance这个词后面才能说this advance 吗？还是说advance有歧义不特指这个discovery呢？谢谢大家！

GMAC对指代的态度是，能严丝合缝的对应上最好，做不到严丝合缝的话只要句子没有歧义就行。B不是错在this advance指代有错，而是如果你用this advance的话就不能用leading，得用lead。B选项中this advance必须是一个主谓结构完整的句子（破折号此处当句号用）。

但是即便把leading改成lead，也还是选A，因为从语义上来说，给三个科学家颁发Nobel prize是因为他们的研究成果已经有了很多牛逼的应用，并且从常识来说，这些应用还会继续影响未来，所以A选项中的现在完成时更合适。
