申请新人报到 请前辈指导

硬件：Gmat 710 tofel 96 (一战 马上刷） gpa 2.9 (悲催） 本科北师大法学 毕业已经八年半 京东亚马逊4年经验 创业三年至今  目前在美国陪媳妇读书（UCLA）
目标南加大mba(应该和论坛里说的MSBA是一个东东吧？） 第二选择西雅图的foster  再就是康奈尔我是不是一点戏也没有呢 虽然也补太可能去新英格兰
问题：胜算几何？有人说我gpa硬伤 的确 上本科时候天天瞎混来着 但是我毕业这么久了 招生官真的会那么揪着8年前的本科成绩说事儿么，我自我感觉这几年在商业上还是小有所成 毕竟现在创业还能赚到钱的 赚到钱还想读mba的 应该不多吧？ 不知道吹吹牛能不能打动招生官 请大家支招，我今年31了 考G考了半年 对申请真是一无所知 any advice will be appreciated!

the average age of those schools is about 28-30. they are not kids. lol

1. 陪媳妇读书就申请相同学校啊，你申请的时候写老婆就在本校比其他人优势大很多的。。。除非你想故意异地啊。。。那你厉害
2. 低GPA，如果你想申请好学校的话一定要想办法解释，想尽各种办法！比如说你当时集中精力搞其他的去了，或者成绩中偏科，对一些不感兴趣但是专业课很好之类的，然后靠其他东西补，比如说高gmat，或者其他的一些，反正一定要解释。一般MBA都有optional的文书部分，这部分就是用来解释这些的
3. GMAT多考！他们只看最高分！把所有能考的都考了。。。托福往死里考。。。你反正陪读有的是时间，对自己狠一点。。。

I do not know what's ur purpose to have a MBA degree, but as a millionaire, if you want to build up solid connection and networking, you better target top 20 even top 10.

U may consider UCB, DARTMOUTH, DUKE, CORNELL, CMU, USC

2 good point, but I have taken gmat 5 times this year, so
3 good to know, but is it possible that most billionaires would prefer M7? I am a millionaire who mainly targets top 20 to 30 school

2. GMAT is good but as an Asian male without green card or American citizenship, you better break 720
3. Tons of millionaires or even billionaires applied top MBA programs every year.
4. I highly recommend you retake GMAT to break 720; TOEFL 100. Figure out your specific goal, outstanding story in your life, and what kind of contributions you can provide to the school you are targeting.
