但我看OG上面对于D解释道：The use of which is inappropriate here;
although it would still be rhetorically
inferior to the correct answer (C), this
version would be acceptable if the word
which were deleted.

所以如果真向OG所说，D把which去掉，那么was published ...and winning..., brought ，为什么也是一个可以接受的结构？？？

看winning的位置 ，只能是修饰后面

想想Ving modifier放句首的形式

winning both the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize,
The color purple brought her the widest acclaim

你的意思就是 was published brought并列的，winning用来修饰brought？？

这里用了and , 就知道后面要跟一个和was published 平行的谓语动词，因为被隔开，所以可以明确这个Ving的modifier是来修饰后面的brought her the widest acclaim

句子上可以理解，但整个结构太恶心吧唧了
