这题答案是C，但我没看明白Ron的解释，C读起来挺顺的但是想不明白B哪里错了。他原话如下：

since the EXACT WORD setting doesn't appear anywhere else inthis sentence, the sentence is incorrect.
by contrast, choice (c) is a-ok on this point. this choice also contains"...than they have been (__________)", where the parallel concept,"(more) conservative", actually appears elsewhere in the sentence.” [size=14.007px]
