So first of all, let me mention that you have a very interesting profile. Very very international for a chinese applicant. With entrepreneurial experience. Of course it depends a bit HOW that entrepreneurial experience goes. But overall, things look interesting.
Let’s get to your questions:
1. You can make S16 with a good application. I don’t have enough detail to say whether it is probable, but it is possible. If you had a higher GMAT by 30 points, it would be easier.
2. All are good. Seriously. At least in the Top 40/50 schools. Yes, salaries will be different and regions too. And the companies which recruit also. My suggestion is to do an Internet search for “employment report” with the name of the target school. This is too much information to post here.
3. Of course they care! But the switch to consulting is usually very easy, because they need people from every sort of expertise, as long as you are clever and a good worker.
