E选项解释说 “and后半句没有主句”，请问"stalking them over the treeless landscape and getting close enough in order to kill it" 不能做主语么？

只分析E选项吧，讲下思路，其他有问题再问。
E. and so stalking them over the treeless landscape and getting close enough in order to kill it

首先，确定整段话有两个句子，中间用连接词连接。Caribou是一个警惕的动物，为了抓住它需要特别的技巧。
然后，确定有两个句子就找连接词，E选项and 和 so redundant了，两个连接词，manhattan语法笔记第一章就规定了句子结构。
接着看，E选项使用and连接两个present participle的并列结构做主语，doing A and doing B required C. 结构ok，但是，从Ron神经常说的段落要表达的语意上理解，追踪和靠近Caribou是目的，是猎人掌握特别的技巧的目的。所以用infinitive phrase——to do 显然比present participle更加make sense。
最后，整段话就没有it的单数先行词，并列结构前半段用过stalking them指代Caribou，后面用it，直接排出。

再次看到这题，似乎大概明白了，没有主语的原因是因为E有“in order to", 所以下面一句需要主语。

同不懂  和楼主一样的问题求助啊！！！！  两个分词 一起做主语用and连接一下不行吗  E怎么错啦

谢谢，那E选项和正确答案B选项比较，在句子结构上有什么不同呢？B选项的谓语是required? E 选项的就不是required。是这样理解吗？
