报offer NTU MBA

在chase dream上游荡很长时间，终于可以告一段落。
之前有个账号由于找不到密码，所以注册一个新号汇报了。

本人去新加坡读MBA的意志非常坚定，而且只想去新加坡，其它什么香港、欧美都不考虑。因为岁数大了，拉家带口的觉得也就新加坡比较合适。
背景方面就是工科211土硕，还是学化工的。。。四年FMCG-MKT经验，读研时候做过几个实习。
（个人感觉工作经验4年是个坎，少于这个年数的录取时候会成为短板。不过也是因人而异了。）

申请是赶在R1 deadline提交的，大概是11月16号的样子。然后学校给推荐人发了邮件要求填写推荐信。期限大概是一周吧。
然后收到面试通知，大概12月初的样子开始面试。为了这个面试我还买了一个带话筒的降噪耳机。。。
面试问的问题在CD上都能找到，常规的一些问题。不过还问了我婚否，有娃否。。。说是要评估一下我是否想留新？很怪异。
未来打算也问了，我说计划工作个2-3年回国。然后对方就开始说我不好找工作。。。一度觉得面试彻底废了。。。
不过那个女面官一直非常nice，且相聊甚欢。那个气氛就感觉我已经被录了一样。可能两个面官一个红脸一个白脸吧。
面试持续不到半小时，也就20分钟吧。

面完就开始无尽的等待和煎熬，此处略去一万字痛苦的心路历程。
过了一个礼拜的样子，某天夜里2点查邮箱，竟然看到offer！惊讶的以为自己在做梦，看来好几遍才敢相信这么快。因为大家都说还有第二轮面试的。
接下来就是交钱和确认offer，大概给了一周到两周时间吧，必须在这段时间里确认和交钱。估计也是怕脚踏两只船吧。
交钱的话通过学校确认offer的网页直接点一个链接然后用visa或者master支付，没有手续费，且快速便捷。交完钱会有邮件回复，也踏实放心。

剩下的就是等正式的录取通知和其它七七八八的事情了。
最后想衷心感谢CD这个平台，给我提供了很多备考和申请的信息，帮我少走了很多弯路。因此，特发帖回报CD。

另外，如果有前辈学长看到此贴可否分享一下MBA阶段的课程配置呢？本人工科背景实在担心自己上课时候跟不上，所以想先看看，大概有个了解。在此先谢谢了。

The selection interview is a 30-minute meeting between yourself and usually 2 NBS resources, usually profs. The purpose of the interview is to find out more about you, such as your leadership potential, your experience, how you can contribute to the cohort, etc. in short who you are. The other purpose of the interview is to ensure that Nanyang MBA is the right programme which will add value to your post-MBA career aspirations.

When we identify shortcomings, such as insufficient work experience, I hope you trust our judgement that you will stand to gain by obtaining more work experience. Part of your learning comes from (1) your fellow cohort, (2) application of the knowledge to your past experiences, etc.

We take pride in selecting the best talents from various industries, functional roles, nationalities to enrich your learning experience with us. This also translates to a powerful network of alumni members around the world. This year, we have 88 students from 23 nationalities from various industries such as healthcare (a nurse and a doctor), non-profit, hospitality, IT, banks, consultants, etc. We are also very proud that 41% of the cohort are female participants.

在MBA项目正式开始之前，学校会提供两个必修的预备课程：

第一是在线的哈佛预备课程，包括了会计、金融、统计、经济学等科目，这个预备课程完成后才可以正式入学；

第二是开学前三个星期在学校专为亚洲学生开设的MBA预备课程，会涉及大量的case study和presentation，以帮助你适应MBA英语教学和项目强度
