GWD TN 21 两道语法题求指导！

因为手机码字比较辛苦 所以DE两个选项明显错的就不打了
这里答案是B 我选了C 是把它当成了三个并列句子 不知可否这样理解 还是只能有两个并列句并用and but等连接词连接？
答案为啥是B呢？

另外一题 看到有人问过了 但我自己没理解

第二题在E中，其实"of experts"和"it assigned"中间省略额一个"that"，完整形式是 ...the federal advisory committee of experts that it assigned to do.. 相当于是定语从句修饰前面的内容，it就是指代the White House。不过这题我之前也错了

经你分析发现C确实不对
至于B也只好用排除法来做了

第二步，找动作发起者：城市，它的，它的作为并列来讲应该是一个东西。所以its=city's

第三步，排除错误项: 先排除C, it could reduce its crime rate.请问it指谁？its又指谁？这里的its是指city's，那it就应该是city.

            city自己能reduce crime rate吗？不行，所以C不对。 A和B一比，A不行。因为A前面有 be ，后面没有。不如B对应。故

            选B。

第二题，让我选的话我会选D,我真不知道E是怎么出来的。
