deepye的第一篇:what makes a good neighbor?

Neighbors are extraordinarily significantpeople, no matter how many communities people have been through from childhood toretirement. When people choose which place they want to live, neighbor isalways one of the key determinants in our cosideration. Neighbors who arefriendly, considerate and willing to help others are good choices.
One of the most important characteristicsof good neighbors is friendly, which would help experience a happy leisure timewith neighbors. Nobody wants to live in an inhospitable ambience, but there islittle likelihood with friendly neighbors. Even the simplist greeting “hi” canbe a wonderful start of association. Then with continious communication, youcan find that maybe your child and your neighbor’s child are about the same ageand she is glad to share the breeding experience with you. From this point, kindand nice neighbors privides us very cordial environment through their care andfriendship.
Another aspect of being a good neighbor isto be considerate. Why is bothersome or annoying coming into some persons’ mindwhen neighbors are mentioned? Most cases of that sitution are caused by thoughtlessactions of neighbors. For instance, a man living upstairs likes to treat hisfriends till late night, talking loudly, playing rock music, but unfortunatelyyou have to get up early in the morning and have no chance to take a nap in daywork. Therefore it is no wander that no one enjoys such kind of neighbor. Appearently, people are willing to keep maintaining their comminity with their neighborsrather than to disregard or tackle with the disturbing circumstances generatedby them. Thus people do hope their neighbors act considerately.
Other than that, being able to help you outwhen it is necessary is also viewed as a significant hallmark of good neighbor.Being trapped into troubles is occasional occourance, which everyone has toface in his or her life. Even if all the individuals have parents, relativesand friends, it is highly possible that they cann’t arrive in time to help you, then you need to account on your neighbors. They can help you solve the problem, provide useful advice or enhance your confidence if you seek help from them. Asa consequence, there is no substitue for an altruistic neighbor when youconfront with emergency.
As a whole, these are precious andindispensable qualities of good neighbors. They are friendly, considerate and alwayswilling to help others. Living with such a neighbor will make you reluctant tomove to other places.

Attending Classes: required or optional?
Can students understand the knowledegethoroughly enough in the unversity only by reading books? Or, is there no useof learing from a teacher and dicussing with classmates? As far as I’mconcerned, the answer is definitely “No”, that means all the students aresupposed to abide by the rule of attending classes.
In the first place, there is no substituteof teaching if someone plans to master the knowledge and skill. Books areusually written so concisely without detailed further illustration that theteachers complement that part in classes and provide vivid examples toelaborate abstract concept. Moreover, some operations, especially, aredemonatrated only with pictures in the book, making students spend a largeamout of time to acquire by themselves. Quite the opposite, these actions willbe showed specifically by the teacher in the class, so what students need to domay be just to catch a glimpse of them. Appearently, the teachers play apivotal role in the delivery of knowledge and apart from participating classesstudents are hard-pressed to get the chance.
What’s more, discussing in a group is anessential part of education in university. Without attending classes, studentslose precise opportunity of debating academic issues with partners and thus theopportunity of sharpening their intellect. When I was learning analogintegrated circuit design in the insititue, one of my partners put forward abizzare structure of current sink.  Throughcontinuous discussion and modification, we devised a new circuit with highperformance and published a paper in an international conference. That’s howgroup discusstion works. Therefore attending class can help students fulfillthe potential that might not be achieved otherwise.
Nevertheless, some individuls may arguethat it is a waste of time for students with exceptional performance to attendclass. Perhaps this kind of students will not benefit as much as other onesfrom teachers and groups, but actually they can learn more than that, such asthe leadship in the group, the communication skills that is always useful.Additionaly, participating the classes can help students who are lack ofself-control keep pace with others. In light of these situations, attendingclasses is a considerate rule, which can elevate the capabilities of everyone, ratherthan a trade-off among students from diverse backgrounds and with differentablity.
Indisreputably, taking part in classes is asensible choice for all the students. Teachers’ illustration and classmates’discussion can enhance students’ learning and elaborate new way of thinking. Ibelieve that going to classes is supposed not to be optional, but anindispensable part of university education.
