选择 香港vs美国

michigan MFE 和 HKU mphil  英国warwick FM

现在HKU actuarial science 在读 经济危机断了工作的路 找精算的工作很难..

放弃michigan 很大一部分是贵 还有就是现在的形势让我对出路非常忧虑 出去了也是想留美 实在不行也想回香港 暂时不想回内地 但是现在的情况让我觉得回香港也挺难的

mphil 有丰厚的scholarship 安逸的两年还是挺有吸引力的 在这种动荡的日子里

还是想听听大家意见  谢谢~~~

mphi是学术型的吧？mfe是典型的工作型的，感觉专业本身有较大差别。。。

看到你也申了英国。。。抓住一切机会问下，你觉得帝国理工的MSF怎样呢？在香港的名声如何？呵呵。。

专业差别是挺大 我无非也就是混个两年 再找工作 IC在香港名气不错 香港人对英国大学还是挺看重的 专业我就不太清楚了

但是我为什么说回香港很难 就是你现在找工作 人在英国 找香港的 你不可能飞回来啊 飞一两次就很.. 电面什么的都是很不现实的 何况是现在的情况..其实找工作什么 都是看自己本身的能力 我就是觉得现在自己还不够qualified 没有准备好

你拿到的是精算的mphil？现在香港的商科mphil名额太少了吧。。。

我也申了，申来申去申出了个phd，很无语

if i were you, i'd stay as i enjoy the life in hk. while your friends are struggling or even suffering in uk or us, you are doing gym in flora ho / shopping at sogo / going out with your boy friend, either local or non-local on a regular basis~ still, you can study well.

just my two cents, in terms of life, hk is not bad, in terms of career, as you have mentioned, it really depends on your ambition and capability, staying in hk itself is a big advantage for job seeking, nearly all players in the market have presence in hk, and come on, chinese food, chinese culture and proximity to your hometown~

是自己系的 不一定是精算 可能统计 商学院的mphil 只有finance 那个是要工作经验的

phd也蛮好的呀

如果你没有强烈留学情节的话，个人觉得肯定要选hku。。。当然。。如果lz有拼劲想去美国闯出一片天地的话。。就去michigan吧，工作的东西很难说，谁知道毕业的时候怎么样。。

lz能说的清楚点么，我是申accouting的，当时港大可是说早就没有accounting 的mphil quota了。。。

是cityu 的phd,是不是很惨？
