Some people believe that the best way of learning about life is by listening to the advice of family and friends . other people believe that the best way of learning about life is through personal experience. Compare the advantages of these two different ways of learning about life . which do you think is preferable? Use specific examples to support your preference.
When it comes to the option that whether you will listen to the advice of family and friends or just follow your own experience when learning about life, it is always be a controversial dilemma. The truth is that now, at my age, I clearly see that the best way of learning about life would be a combination of the two ways noted above.
To listen to the advice of family and friends, it seems to be safer. We may look into every possible reason; however, foremost reason for my propensity is that people will have more opportunity to choose the wise decision when others offer their practical advice which is abstracted from their own experience. Whether the experience is bitter or sweet, the one giving to you must teach a lesson to your family members or friends. Owing to this, they know more about how to deal with the similar problem and can lead you to the right way. Secondly, several people to face a fiddle together is better than only one person alone to do it. From all these factors presented above, learning well about life owes a large debt to follow others’ advice.
Admittedly, the former way holds a lot of water; I still cling to the belief that as a college student, life learning is supposed to be more impressing through personal experience. To start with, you gain experience insightfully just by participating the matter. An early philosopher said once you begin to decide something meaning that you grow up. Further lending credence is that as you grow up, less and less people are surrounding you even your family members. More often when headache comes, you have to face it and then come up the right therapy just by your own experience. Even though its outcome will not be the one you expect, I strongly believe that even painful the experience we choose to have is helping us grow and builds our personality.
Taking into account of all these factors, each way has its advantage. it is sagacious to draw the conclusion that combination of the two ways is better than one. For the particularity of youngsters, in some extent, trying to contact with the society just by theirs elves is also necessary. |
