Agree or disagree: Teachers should assign homework for students every day

In contemporary society, some parents want their children’s teachers to assign much homework for children so that they could have higher scores in their courses. It seems that homework could lead kids to become excellent students. However, when asked about whether teachers should assign homework for students every day, people get into a dilemma. As far as I am concerned, it is essential for students to have homework every day.

To begin with, through commenting and correcting the homework, teachers could know the effect of classes of every student, and students could realize their shortcomings. As we know, homework concentrates all the core of courses. Doing homework is the only way, except the final examination, to measure whether you understand what teachers have taught during the classes. When I was in high school, there was infinite homework assigned by teachers every day, which made me extremely annoyed and hopeless. Nonetheless, I got an excellent score in the College Entrance Examination, because I had finished my homework every day delicately, through which some knowledge points that I had neglected were exposed apparently. Meanwhile, my classmate Jimmy, who always copied other homework, was disappointed by his embarrassing score. Considering the examples and analysis mentioned above, we can safely indicate that the result of classes could easily be tested by finishing your homework, which is worthy to be done.

From another point of view, what is also worth noticing is that doing homework every day is a proper way to practice your persistence. Someone who could finish the homework in time has the potential to be a persistent and efficient person, since they should schedule their precious time and deal with other affairs in the meantime. For instance, my neighbor Tony is a medical student in his internship, and he is always busy to review medical knowledge and prepare for different kinds of tests. Everyday he has to finish his homework, such as writing medical reports and studying new medical knowledge. But all this heavy work is the basis for him to become a conscientious and outstanding doctor. To sum up, thanks to everyday’s homework, students are strengthened in both the persistence and the efficiency.

In conclusion, it is necessary for teachers to assign homework everyday, which not only tests the effect of studying new knowledge, but also leads us to become much more efficient and persistent. Based on what has been discussed in the argument, I firmly agree with this opinion.

With the advent of the technology advanced society, people’s lives are facing an unprecedented change. However, when asked about whether technology makes our lives simpler or more complicated, people get into a dilemma. As far as I am concerned, I firmly hold the opinion that we are now entering a simpler new world.

To begin with, technology catalyzes to form an invisible net connected people all over the world. One of the most critical techniques among all the invention is Internet-an international computer network connecting other computers from different kinds of departments. I still remember the period before the Internet spreading in the whole world: My father used to write letters to my sister who was studying in the secondary school and always asked questions of mathematical courses in the letters. Because of the inconvenient transportation, it took almost a week to send a letter. However, due to the rapid development of Internet, we accustom to send e-mail, which could be received efficiently and completely in a second, rather than write a letter. Considering the example and analysis above, we may safely come to the conclusion that technology, such as the Internet, closes the distance between every person.

From another point of view, what is also worth noticing is that technology makes our lives much more efficient. Benefits generated by the advance of technology are fully utilized by every person. For instance, as widely use of intelligent cellphone, we can search information wherever you are. If you get lost in an unfamiliar city, search the e-map by your phone; if you are looking for an academic paper during the meeting, just google it; if you plan to have a dinner with your girlfriend, booking a couple of seat in the restaurant is very convenient. As well, some technology suggests and even replaces us to make decisions. Some applications guide you the fastest way to drive; some websites analyze your tendency of working fields. To sum up, we human beings are living in a world with mature technology that speed up our steps and simplify our lives.

Of course, the negative effect of technology cannot be denied, for the reason that we are now combined tightly with electricity. There is no person who could extremely disconnect it, which is the only energy of lights, cellphones and so on. However, compared with the simpler life created by technology, the complicated effects and troubles are not as serious as it seems to be.

In conclusion, technology definitely makes our lives simpler, since it is now available to connect people in every corner of the world, and also instead of us to deal with problems efficiently. Therefore, owing to what has been discussed above, I totally agree with this statement.
