本科在读如何规划申请accounting ph.d概率大？

对不起，打扰了！
我是美国本科低年级的accounting double math的学生，前50的州立大学，具体哪个就不说了.^ ^才学了前几门会计专业课，将来想申请会计的phd（太喜欢学校了啊啊啊～）个人有去graduate school前20的学校accounting phd网页浏览过，大抵就是要有econ,math theory,calculus,computer science，还有 behavior science的背景。


可否请各位大牛点拨一下，给一个比那些网页稍微具体点的规划？

ps,如果把它的网页academic要求全到了，ps,letter也能准备到，还需要读master嘛？还是说读master的申请成功率会高？？？？

我个人觉得，前50的美国本科应该够了。

考个高G，拿到比较积极的推荐信，把GPA尤其是会计、经济、数学弄高一点儿，希望很大。

美本的一大优势就是不需要硕士也能申博士。

没戏。跟会计博士在读的朋友咨询过，她说她们学校录取的90%都是 CPA，有四大full-time工作经验，which means you have to have a master's degree。 而且名校情结严重，毕业学校都是常春藤。听完她的话我彻底打消了本科直接申博士的念头。

真想知道这是哪个学校? 90%的phd学生背景都这么unique. 藤校毕业去四大,然后考cpa,也太他妈loser了吧.

估计是拿ADS奖学金的美国人吧，UNC,UW,PSU都是喜欢白人的学校

there are two types of white american phd students in accounting, the first type, which is the majority one, includes ppl graduating from so so (actually bad if considering that they are white american) college with accounting major, big four experience, and cpa license, almost all white american phd students in uw,unc,psu, and arizona are this type, the second type, which is the minority one,  includes ppl from top school with various background, the number of students in this type is quite small since students who have this background and want to pursue phd degree would choose economics or finance.


if students from ivy have to use ADS for their phd study, they are losers.

工作经验蛮重要， 我也看过很多finance guy 就是本科top-school 然后IB几年 再读top-finance Phd

这样GPA高 很好办 教授好搞定好办事， 你看bus school的教授一个个跟贼似的 没像Econ和Math的那么单纯 那么好套
