With the amazing development of modern media, more and more famous people sprang up and became the real model of teenagers. If I happen to have the chance to meet a famous entertainer or athlete, I will definitely choose Michael Jackson, one of the world’s most famous singers.

Unlike some of his contemporaries, he was born as a black in a slum in Gary. With little money earned, however, his family has eight children to foster. Though under inferior circumstance, he showed up as a child star in the band group called Jackson Five, which made several hits during the 1970s.Afterwards,he published his own solo album and received terrific reaction. Thriller, his best album, sold millions of copies around the world and the music video of Thriller made a major breakthrough in the music history. For MTV could not deny and overlook its huge influence, and had to broadcast the video, the first black artist’s video, on its channel. Hence, that opened the door for lots of other black singers like Whitney Huston. The former American prisident once commented that his twenty years of hard work made a American dream come true.

Together with his achievement in music, his talent in dancing also received the world’s attention. The original dancing movement in Billy Jean, the Moonwalk, led the fashion trend for dancing through the 1980s and still made an important impact nowadays. As a perfectionist, he choreographed a new pattern of dancing for every new video. Such videos as Black or White, Remember the Time and Smooth Criminal all influenced a whole generation.

Michael is liked and admired by people from different nations and from various age ranges. He is perhaps one of the few singers whose songs are favored by kids, parents even grandparents in one family. Besides, he is also liked for his gentle character and his generous in charities. Despite of the false accusation for child abuse in 1993, he didn’t change the love and the faith in the good-will and sincerity in human nature. In transmitting this spirit and helping the misfortune, he established Heal the World Foundation, and he also wrote the moving song Heal the World for the straving children in African.His deeds encourage the youngsters to chase their dreams and face difficulites in life, and made them become more optimistic.And some Russian fans even raised money to plant trees in some barren land and named it Michael Jackson Forest!

In a word, I would be very appriciate to meet Michael Jackson not only for his talent and his pursuit for making the best music,but also for his kind-hearted and spirit reflects from his life.By seeing him in person will surely enrich my experience and may give me a deep thought abut myself and a vivid picture of my future.
