maryland的ad问题

要请问一下各位，前几周收到maryland的一封邮件，说了个什么application recommendation，当时看得不太懂，以为是ad，结果今天收到一封邮件，给我说这只是让graduate school看我的申请的，要等graduate school 做出final 的decision，然后才有official ad。。。各位有遇到像我这样的情况吗？有了这个recommendation以后被正式录取的几率大吗？

同收到，CP咋这么多人申呢？都想待校园？还是有人拒了DC？前段时间CDer报的AD多是DC阿，

international applicant 都到DC？不是CP价更高吗？

我也收到了，其中有这么一段

Now that the Smith School of Business has recommended your application for admission, your application has been forwarded to the Graduate School at the University of Maryland. The Graduate School oversees all graduate programs at the university, and they make the final admission decision on all candidates.  For international students that are formally admitted, the Graduate School also prepares the I-20 document.  This process typically takes about 4-6 weeks from the time of the Smith School's admission recommendation to a final admission notification from the Graduate School.

是不是意味着最快也要4周后才能确定录不录取阿....这样等下去其它家的deadline都过了，万一最后还是拒了，那不是哪都去不了了...
