I Prefer A Large Company
“Do you want to be a big fish in a small pool or a small fish in a big pool?” This is the question that is always asked when young people are choosing their future jobs. The answer may varies as different sorts of people are asked about this. Some aggressive men who are always dreaming of getting a job in the world top 500 companies are, of course, willing to be those small fishes to enjoy their big pool, while others who are relatively conservative probably prefer to accept a small one so that they can get more attention from their bosses and more chances of promotion. As far as I’m concerned, I will choose a big company for the following reasons.
First of all, big companies can provide me more valuable experience that I can never obtain in small companies. There I will have to cope with a variety of business and communicate with people of different nationalities education levels and family backgrounds. Also a big company can offer me the opportunity to go around my country or even abroad, which can broaden my view. I will gain so much from all these affairs above.
In addition, working for a big company can give me a sense of pride. I am able to boast my company to my friends instead of giving many words to explain what on earth my company is and what business it does.
Of course, every coin has two sides. Working in a large company also has some weakness. I will face a lot of difficulties and beat so many competitors, and I will be so busy that I can’t even have time to take a breathe. But compared with its advantages, all these weakness can be negligible.
Consequently, considering one after another I would rather stand on the side of the opinion that young people should choose a large company for it can provide me much experience and sense of pride. |
