 25. It has recently been announced that a large shopping center may be built in your neighborhood .Do you support or oppose this plan? Why ? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

    I live in a community with no large shopping center. People have to make a long journey to the nearest shopping center for the things they want, along with the poor transportation around the community, they make a hard life and a lot of time and energy is waste on the journey. Building a large shopping center around us will bring about numerous benefits for all of the neighbors, including ensuring the quality of every kind of goods, making peoples life more convenient, as well as promoting the local economy.

During quite a long period, people in our community have been purchasing everything from merchants who do not have legal license. Potential dangers, by doing this, exist commonly through every day life of people, such as food out of date and so on. These dangers may not take on in a short time. Nevertheless, from the point of long time perspective, goods bought from those merchants, especially food and drinks, may do a great harm to peoples health. If someone invests money to build a large shopping center here by a legal process, I dare to say that people can avoid confronting those of dangers.

Further more, it will make life more and more convenient than ever before. If one want to buy something real , one has to spend a long journey from home. It is so exhausting that people prefer having a rest out of hard work to doing that. But if there is a large shopping center near us , it will takes only a little time to go shopping. More time may be spent with families and rest.

Lastly, building a big shopping center means a promotion of local economy. The   commodities people can buy are so limited that it is difficult for them to spend money. But now they can get everything they can image in the big shopping center, containing the latest commodities. The range of commodities are equal to the desire of people and also money they spend on them. In the past, people might spend $500 every month , but now the number may twice of that.
