为什么baruch的I-20表格还要护照复印件?

baruch要求的材料怎么比美国领事馆还多,郁闷?办这些材料都要很长时间

In order to issue the SEVIS I-20 we need the following supportive documentation:

1. CONFIDENTIAL DECLARATION AND CERTIFICATE OF FINANCE FORM (CDF)

Along with the CDF form please provide us with the following original documents, translated to English, not older than 3 months:

If you are supporting yourself:

BANK STATEMENT in your name, which states the date the account was opened, current balance, average deposits and average balances.

PROOF OF INCOME

Any two of the following:

• Verification of employment on letterhead stationary. If self-employed- income estimate by a bank or private accountant
  
• The most recent income tax documentation (for US citizens W4)
  
• Property estimate issued by the certified accountant
  
• Certificate of bonds or stocks

If you are receiving cash support from an individual or company:

AFFIDAVIT OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT completed by each individual sponsor and notarized.

BANK STATEMENT in the name of the sponsor, which states the date the account was opened, current balance, average deposits and average balances. If the account is in the name of more than one person, each individual must submit a separate affidavit of support.

PROOF OF INCOME

If the sponsor is individual: any two of the following:

• Verification of employment on letterhead stationary. If self-employed- income estimate by a bank or private accountant
  
• The most recent income tax documentation (for US citizens W4)
  
• Property estimate issued by the certified accountant
  
• Certificate of bonds or stocks

If the sponsor is a Company:

• The most recent “profit and loss statement” for the company.

我是在1月中旬交申请资料时填了一个I-20申请表，又交了一份银行存款证明，学校2月中下旬就把I-20连同admission letter寄给我了。还挺lucky的。

大家好好准备一下，希望能在纽约见！！！
