闲来无事开个贴说说york的macc项目

今年申请的，因为签证问题defer到明年入学了，虽然还没去上课，但是对这个项目的申请多少有些了解。加拿大的会计硕士很少，本人认为凭着schulich的牌子这个项目大概在将来会能够与多大mmpa相提并论。gap在家找了个水实习，上班无聊开个贴，感兴趣的小伙伴，特别是打算diy的，可以来交流下~

楼主好！我这两天一直在看加拿大的会计master项目。现在York跟别的master比，给我最大的感觉就是没有co-op项目，让人感觉有点儿心慌啊！这样出来会不会竞争力不够啊，毕竟accounting这个职业还是挺看重工作经验的。楼主当初是为什么选择这个项目的呢？

我还有个问题诶，我现在在美国读本科，我们学校五月中旬才会结束，York的master是五月什么时候开始的？我能赶上吗？

四月底五月初。。你可以写邮件问问学校~去年是第一年，学校没经验，有一部分人推迟到明年了，今年也许会考虑到这个问题

这的确是个问题，我是觉得mmpa时间太长了而且比较贵。。york的只要一年，总学费少一点（虽然每年学费两个项目差不多），一期才25个人，可能我个人比较喜欢小班吧。关于毕业之后，因为我选择的是ca方向，以考证为目标，下面是官网关于ca方向的同学毕业之后要做的，项目选择在五月开学应该也是为了一毕业就能赶上ca的考试。

The CA Accredited stream within the Master of Accounting (MAcc) program has been accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.

The Schulich MAcc enables students, within the span of one year, to fulfill the Institute’s degree and 51 credit hour requirements. In the final term of the program, students must select the CA stream to complete all CA required courses. Upon successful completion of the MAcc, graduates become eligible to begin the CA Professional Stream, which includes the following components:

The Core-Knowledge Exam (CKE), which can be written in May or January following the completion of the MAcc.
Three years of employment in a CA training office, which may be a public accounting office or corporate or government office. Schulich’s Career Development Centre has a proven track record connecting its graduates with CA training offices and will assist MAcc students in meeting their career objectives.
The School of Accountancy (SOA), which includes self-study readings and assignments as well as three weeks of full-time study in June or January. The SOA culminates with a two day exam. Students must successfully complete the exam in order to be eligible to write the Uniform Final Exam (UFE).
The UFE, which is written in September, is a three day exam which ensures that CA candidates are proficient in all CA competencies.

Upon successful completion of these requirements, candidates earn the Chartered Accountant qualification.

一届所有的MACC学生才25个吗？这么小的班不过质量应该都挺不错的那给国际生的名额岂不是更少了？

那我该怎么联系学校呢？我刚看了下学校的官网，里面只有这个很general的邮箱，发邮件给他们一般会回复吗？撸主还有什么比较给力的联系方式，比如说小米的邮箱什么的

我也是听今年去这个项目的同学说的，但是今年有些人延迟到明年了，不知道明年是不是还是这么多。schulich的MF一直是25个人貌似。
