求助GWD1-2语法一道~

GWD1-Q2:

By merging its two publishing divisions, the company will increase their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging from obscure textbooks to mass-market paperbacks.

在B选项与E选项之间卡住了，答案说是B，但是which后面的内容不应该是修饰market的吗？为什么要修饰country呢？
或者是还有什么其他的语法问题？希望大家帮我来看看这个问题~谢谢~

这道题有点tricky有点难，因为B,E就是在比较谁的错误更大。

你说的对，B的which很有嫌疑，跳跃修饰。但这属于语言的effectiveness, 显得不大clear;

但相比较而言E就很恶劣了，一般我们说from...to......这是很清楚的，这里说to..from...完全就是违背idiomatic的用法；再者，country's显然不如In the country, 一方面国家是无生命事物，一方面in的借此结构更有效。

这道题 B 肯定错没有跳跃指代因为country也是单数怎么能跳跃呢?
to... from...是可以的因为 from的内容比较长为避免意思歧义 from放后

感觉E的答案更能解释的通啊，B选项的WHICH的问题很大啊。因为从各种语法的解释来说，WHICH都应该是直接修饰前面的名词的。如果是选择B，和语法解释矛盾。

恩恩，看了大家的解释觉得还是E的正确性比较高一些~再加上3楼xiwei同学的prep例子，感觉还是E靠点谱~
如果还有其他想法，大家也可以说说~最后小声说一下....GWD上的答案好像错很多嘛....
