University of Michigan-Ann Arbor's old program MS Financial Engineering has been suspended. The Math Dept opens a new and similar program MS Quantitative Finance & Risk Management. Now we are looking for 1st year students. If you are still looking for better option, please feel free to apply. The deadline is March 1, 2015.

The program is similar to the old FE program, in which you can take courses in Math/Stat, Econ, B-school and Engineering school. The math dept will focus more on job placement.

I graduated from FE program. Michigan FE program definitely has a good fame and good placement in US. Many of us found a job in New York, Chicago, Hong Kong, Singapore and other financial hubs.
