请问各位牛牛 c是怎么平行的呀
to be 是肿么和 they have been 平行的呀
平行不是要求比较的结构也要平行么前面是 to be 的结构，但是后面又是完整的句子这是肿么回事呀？

这种结构简化了就是：The teacher expects Tom to be more aggressive than he has been in the past few years. 老师期待Tom能够比他过去几年里更aggressive.

终于来人了谢谢大神哈  可能我木有表述清楚  所以再请教哈
时态我明白不需要一致  我的疑惑是这个句子的结构上的平行
就拿你举得的这个例子来讨论

eg1. The teacher expects Tom to be more aggressive than he has been in the past few years.
这里后面的he是指代Tom
这个expect sb to be ... to be 是介词短语，怎么和后面的句子平行呢？

eg2.The teacher expects that Tom will be more aggressive than he has been in the past few years.
或者.The teacher expects Tom to be more aggressive than him in the past few years.
感觉这样结构才完整啊比较的是宾语  要么宾语是个从句句子平行句子....要么宾语是个人，人对人。。

牛牛说的eg1的简化是肿么简化的呀？什么情况下这种 to be 可以和句子平行啊？??
现在满满都是疑惑呀~~~
是我太钻牛角尖咯么  ？其实比较的平行不是一定要句子平行句子，词平行词的？
还是我漏掉了什么重要的环节？麻烦牛牛再指教指教！谢谢啊~

我不是大神哈~

我个人觉得expect somebody to be adj. 结构中，to be不定式和is/was/will be就是一回事哈，The teacher expects Tom to be aggressive. 老师expect Tom什么呢？如果把the teacher拿掉，不就是Tom is aggressive或者Tom will be aggressive吗？

而且，我个人觉得比较级的结构未必要非常完美结构对称的，，只要比较的内容对称就行了。语意错误、语法错误的永远比形式的不完美要严重的多。尤其是gmac的语法题，基本都是比较出来的，其他选项都有明显错误，那么一个选项没有错误的就对了。

有一个很快的搜索prep语法的方法：在google里搜语法题的原句，哪怕就copy这个语法题的前10个单词也行，google里一般第一条就是Manhattan的那道题。

哦，没事，baidu也可以，但是百度有个技巧，不是简单搜索，而是用高级搜索：http://www.baidu.com/gaoji/advanced.html

要在“站内搜索”这一栏写上www.manhattangmat.com，这样结果出来的就直接是这个网站的了。
