A. thenumbers of trucks alone B. thatnumber of trucks alone C. thenumber of trucks by themselves D. asmany trucks themselves (B) E. asmany trucks by themselves 这道题本身没有选错是B，但是看到PREP08版语法笔记里有这样一段话给自己绕糊涂：对于C选项中aeoluseros关于by themselves的看法： 这个句子的意思是“仅仅”卡车就已经两倍量的生产了， themselves反身代词是对trucks的同位语，表示强调是trucks而已，我们往往可以看作没有反身代词，就如同同位语往往与句子主成份无关一样，所以用alone比用themselves语义上更加强烈。但这不能成为第一位的筛选原则。effectiveness性错误.
这句话一直没有弄明白，希望大神解释反身代词是强调trucks,但是alone不也是强调trucks吗？
