正确答案是E 但是我想问E 中 if they simply..中they不会指代不清么？ ABC因为同义重复可以排除掉，但是DE中后面都是they...这个they不能指代employees 而造成误解么？

save...by搭配是合适的，in 则错误；

they 理论上可以指代workers, employees，
但是理解上是指代 companies,
因为they provided ...跟 they could save..by...,
(could) gain ... through ...的方向是一致的。

恩……这样我可以理解。但我总觉得，如果有一个比他更好的话，指代清晰地话，是不是还是要把它排除？

是的，这里的they确实不是最佳的用法，可能补出来the companies会是更佳的选项，但是E是在ABCD里面最佳的选项了，所以选E。并且代词指代这个问题除了非常明显的错误，比如题中没有单数名词，出来一个it，没有指代对象，又或者they在句子前面指代A，如果在句子末尾又出现一个they逻辑上指代B，这些都算是代词指代的明显错误，但是对于有多个复数名词，they可能指代不清的这一条判断依据在gmat中并不是最强烈最强有力的，所以最先开始都不要用这一条来排除答案。
