这道题,我纠结的是,A中的they were的而不是they did的理由
我参照了曼哈顿里面提到的有关助动词代替动词或动词短语的规则,但仍有疑问,想请各位高手讲解一下,多谢!
1、这里首先确实是没有理由用did,如果要用是不是也应该是they paid?因为曼哈顿里面提到如果说要改变时态,那么这种情况下就要重复前面的整个动词
2、而这里的were是和前面的are想对应,但是曼哈顿又说了,一般后面用助动词来代替动词或动词短语,助动词的时态应当是与前面助动词的时态一致的,这里虽然都是进行时,但是有过去和现在之分。
以上两点是我现在能够想到的两个理由,但是我不能确定,请多指教!
