我是认为A和E都对，看了解释还是疑惑解释说a答案用which 引导不合适，应该用that , 还说while在这里表示当什么什么的时候，为什么不能是表示转折的呢，希望大家能帮我解释下谢谢

while的用法：
while引导的从句：
1) 意思是“当…时”，放句首或句中
2) 意思是“转折对比contrast”时，多放在句中，也可以放在句首。while表示对比概念的时候，两个事物要是同时发生（但是while本身并没有at the same time的意思，所以while at the same time是可以prep 1-96）。
3) 意思是“虽然、尽管”（让步）时，多放在句首。(=although)
4) 表示条件,意为"只要",其意思和用法相当于as long as。while可位于句首,也可位于句中。

本局逻辑强调的是Hans 的plays, poems,....., 这部分
所以不管用although 还是 while , 后面都应该是 Hans wrote fairy tales
A 里面 while 的位置显然不对

另外即便 A选项 while 放在了句首
表达的意思和E 仍有差别
While Hans wrote X, he wrote Y, which remained...
这里对比的重点变成 wrote X 和 wrote Y 这两个动作
而不是X 和 Y 这两个名词迥异的下场= =..

关于which 能否引导限定性从句
不是Gmat的考点
但是这里 fairy tales 的伟大是不可以去掉的部分
只有它存在了才可以和后面plays, poems 的惨淡来对比
因此要用限定性从句
而限定性从句最好用that

这题关键还是考句意

prep语法笔记里面已经有好多过时的东西。。。

是哦
里面基本没有语义的分析
起步来用还不错
进阶不太够~
难题拼到最后两个选项蛮多都是只能拼句意了

谢谢，从句意下手有时真的很难，主要在于要能读的很懂吧，反正我是在崩溃的边缘。
