求助，，，关于两个句子的理解，谢谢！

第一个句子是manhattan里第七章出现的：
1、She will pay you when you have taken out the garbage.
manhattan给出的解释是when在这里理解为after,然后给出了一个解释的句子：She will pay you clearly after you take out the garbage and have proven it!
我还是没能弄懂为什么will和现在完成时可以放在一起，现在完成时不是应该用来表示过去发生持续到现在，或者影响持续到现在的事件吗？

第二个句子是OG13里P41的40题，正确的句子是：In 1995 Richard Stallman,a well-known critic of the patent system,testified in Patent Office hearings that,to test the system,a colleague of his had managed to win a patent for one of Kirchhoff's laws,an observation about electric current first made in 1845 and now included in virtually every textbook of elementary physics.
这里我是觉得 a colleague of his好像有问题，这个his是不是应该改成him?

1，将来完成时，但是在时间/条件等状语从句中用一般现在时表将来，所以将来完成时用现在完成时
2，GMAT里 a friend of his/mine/yours正确，a friend of John's /my father's 错误
