可是在曼哈顿p108有这么个例子：
laura locked the deadbolt before she left for work.

“the words before and after indicate the sequence of events clearly and emphatically enough to make the use of Past Perfect unnecessary."

这么理解的话那有了before 和after，就不再需要再次强调tense 的不同啊。求大牛指导TT

before after 的主句与从句有时态递进说是 before after的从句后面不能用完成时态但是主句一般用完成时态

孩子，从主句中的动词 are可以知道用现在时态，因为which修饰profits， measures are evident in its profits，而且during the first 3 months 是现在完成时的标志词， after falling是状语从句的省略形式，语义强调的是已经增长，而不是原来的fell，所以选C
