美本学校的优势到底有多大？

最近CD里看了很多录取汇报。

感觉很多同学 GPA 和 G 都比我高

实习也差不多但是却被rej 而我有AD
唯一的不同就是我是美本。。
现在想过来看看美本是不是真的有很多加分？？
感觉自己申的学校有点保守了

美本表示被好几个学校拒了~~ 美本的是有优势，但是并不像很多cd上的来自国内本的童鞋说的那样有很大的优势，录取还是要看各个方面的因素的，不是一个美本头衔就能吃遍所有学校的。

Hi there! Jon Frank here, happy to help. If you’ve done your undergrad study in the States, it would provide an advantage but not a major one. Schools in the States are more familiar with the education here, so they will have a better understanding of what they can expect from you. But I don’t think this would play a critical role when compared with your test scores, work experience, and essays (your essays and personal statement should elaborate on your future goals and career plan). 主要是我之前来CD 看到大家分数好高底气不太足就没申太好的学校怕一个没申到
但到目前投的5个学校4个给了ad。还有一个在等，感觉自己好像投得太保守。而且CD上感觉很多同学条件比我好（G＋GPA）也没录。所以有了这个问题

Hi, thanks a lot for the help.

Here's my background: undergrad US Top100, G 730, GPA 3.31,
3 short no salary internships: commercial bank + securities companies + HSBC

I've only applied 5 schools and received 4 AD so far. Before the application, I'm afraid that my background is not good enough compared to the candidates I see on CD, so I did not go for those top schools. Just think it would be lucky if I get any AD from the schools I applied.
But till yesterday I have received 4 AD so Im startin to think am I being too conservative?..I might miss the chance to go to a better school. One thing I don't understand is that many candidates obviously has an equal or better GPA and Gmat but they got rej, so I guess is it because the undergrad education?

I also got another question if you don't mind.
Im plannin to go back to China right after I finish the graduate studies. So do you have any suggestions for my school choice?
AD so far: Tulane MSF, UMD MSF, Case Western Reserve MSF, JHU MSF.
personally I prefer Case and JHU, but not sure which one I should choose between these two.

其實我有個問題國外學校招人會分比例? 因為台灣申請的在同一水平上都可以申請上更好的學校是因為對中國的分數無感?

主要是招生部对美国教育体系比较熟悉，他们就能大概衡量出这个学生的水平嘛。
